Seeing a need for conservative Christian music, our family
began several years ago to learn various instruments that would blend to form the traditional
bluegrass sound which we wanted to apply to gospel music. Brian (Dad) and middle son Titus both play the banjo. Pam (Mom) strums rhythm guitar. Kayla fiddles and can swap out for a mandolin or guitar when needed. Eldest son Dave is our mandolin player and is experimenting with the harmonica. Youngest son Philip is still undecided about his instrument of choice, but
enjoys trying to join in with his guitar!
We also have some special music featuring only guitar or only
piano.
We have played for special meetings at churches in Georgia,
Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Pam (Mom) has also played the piano completely by ear for the past 30 years.
She has served as church pianist for over 15 years, and her specialty is creating original medley arrangements of traditional gospel hymns.
